Being that I am a handsome young political scientist studying war and disease, you might believe I gallivant around the world interviewing mountain rebels and Soviet generals. Don’t be fooled (Ok, maybe you weren’t fooled to begin with). Most of my days are spent staring at something like this:

War and Health’s Methodology category is a special section of the blog where I post on the nuts and bolts issues of research (primarily quantitative research). Given that most visitors couldn’t care less about interesting R code or data management, posts in this category do not appear on the homepage or the main RSS feed (but there is a dedicated W&H Methods RSS Feed). So, if you are interesting in R code, survival models, and similar things I encourage you to subscribe to the W&H Methods feed. If not, enjoy the rest of the blog.
